A twenty-eight-year-old Parisian-born commercial illustrator for such important and visible clients as Nestlé, L’Oréal, Bourgeois, and Nescafé, Pénélope Bagieu has become something of a celebrity with the success of her blog, Ma vie est tout à fait fascinante (My Life Is Completely Fascinating). Bagieu has appeared in countless magazine profiles and interviews and she has her own lingerie line with Etam. Now, film rights to Joséphine have been acquired by Gaumont, and Bagieu is working with her idol Joann Sfar (Little Vampires, The Rabbi’s Cat) on a new graphic novel series.
