A Hellenistic scholar and philologist, Jean Bollack is the founder of a research center at the University of Lille III and director of the research study on social history of philology at the Maison des sciences. La Grèce de personne (Seuil, 1997), La mort d’Antigone (PUF, 1999) and Sens contre sens (La passe du vent, 2000) are among his most recent works.
