Pauline Peretz is a professor of contemporary history at the University of Nantes. A specialist on the United States and contemporary international affairs, she has lectured on contemporary politics at the Collège de France. She is the author of Le combat pour les Juifs soviétiques, Washington-Moscou-Jérusalem 1953–1990 (Armand Colin, 2006), to be published in English by Holmes & Meier in 2013. Peretz is on a number of editorial committees, among them La Vie des Idées and Transatlantica. She is a member of the Academic Advisory Council for the Soviet Jewry Archival Project (American Jewish Historical Society).
