Description
There is a close relationship between the massacre of Indians in the Americas, the persecution of Blacks and the policies of extermination introduced in Europe in the first half of the 20th century. In La férocité blanche, Rosa Amelia Plumelle-Uribe demonstrates how the massive deportation of Africans and their enslavement for well over three centuries characterized the eviction of black people from the human race by white people, and how as a result the white race became the referential model on an international level. This destruction occurred in almost complete indifference. Plumelle-Uribe also argues that the switch from excluding non-whites to excluding non-Aryans during Nazi Germany was the logical consequence of many centuries of genocidal practices by a culture of annihilation and reconsiders the language used by Europeans to describe these horrible times.
