Description
Published in France in time for the 100th anniversary of the philosopher’s death, the book addresses the profound influence Nietzsche had on French thought from the late 19th century to today. Indeed none other than André Gide and Paul Valéry emerge as the early supporters, followed by Georges Bataille in the 30s and 40s, and later by Michel Foucault, Gilles Deleuze, and Jacques Derrida.
