Few people know that Chinese medicine is not only limited to acupuncture but also tackles treatment of serious diseases such as cancer. Traditional Chinese medicine has long ago diagnosed the various symptoms and forms of cancer and has consequently obtained great results in its applications to cancer. The theory developed here follows a double process of both prevention and treatment considering both in human balance as defined by the Yin and the Yang theory and modern scientific research. Moreover, the approach uses acupuncture, natural plants, auriculotherapy and moxibustion to reduce the pain and the secondary effects of modern treatments such as chemotherapy and radiotherapy. In addition to these traditional techniques the book presents more recent treatments such as electropuncture and lasertherapy and indicates new acupunctural points localizing cancer and fighting against need for tobacco.
