What do you do when you find out the new boss is a woman? Especially when you’re the members of a firehouse, a bunch of guys, bonded in fraternal jocularity, and sharing everything from meals to bunks, to women?
This bunch have a hard time swallowing it, though eventually, through the painful daily drills, tests of her patience, and will, and emergency calls, the new fire marshal proves her worth. Throughout a series of scenes where humor is equally matched by the growing tension, a social experiment unfolds. Unfortunately, she earns their respect just as she gets the ax, and they are none the better for losing her as their leader.
A wonderful morality tale full of sirens (of more than one kind) and saviors, pranksters and heroes, that opens the door to the mysterious world of the firehouse.
